Constructed with a six-ply durable shell, two-ply birch interior and four-ply maple exterior, offering a warm sound while the special snare bed provides a superior response. The reduced shell depth of the Agility series drum offers a reduced weight, giving this snare drum a more articulate sound that works well for both outdoor and indoor percussion performance applications. Each snare drum features strong, die case aluminum hoops and a 12-lug suspension frame to handle the highest tension tuning and all batter and snare head types. The Mapex Quantum Agility marching snare comes standard with Gloss Chrome hardware.
