Shape Rhythms and Melodies With 8 Flexible Steps
At the heart of the 960 sequential controller is an 8-step analog sequencer for programming rhythmic and melodic patterns. Each step has individual pitch control knobs, letting you set the voltage output per step to create melodies and basslines. Switch each step between Normal, Skip and Stop modes to alter the sequence playback and create rhythmic variations. The manual Set buttons allow realtime triggering of each step. Connect it to a VCO or other sound source and start laying down sequences.

Expand to 24 Steps With the 962 Sequential Switch
Add the Behringer 962 sequential switch module and unlock a 24-step sequencer for longer, more intricate patterns. The 962 switches between three rows of the 960’s step knobs, multiplying the number of steps. Create complex rhythms, arpeggios and basslines by combining the 960 and 962 modules. The expandable architecture takes your sequences to the next level.

Onboard Oscillator Adds Flexible Sonic Possibilities
In addition to the step sequencer, the 960 Sequential Controller has its own onboard analog oscillator. Use the frequency knobs to dial in the pitch or patch in CV sources to modulate the oscillator. Manually start and stop the oscillator or use external gates to trigger it. With both sequencing and sound generation in one module, it unlocks new dimensions of modular creativity.
